• Is ASME membership compulsory to take part in HPVC?

Yes, a participant has to be an ASME member to take part in HPVC India 2016. The participating college need not be a registered student section.

• Are teams from international institutes allowed?

Yes, participation is open to teams from all over the world.

• Are multiple entries from the same college allowed?

Yes, multiple entries from the same college are allowed. However, no participant can be a part of more than one team.

• What is the ‘Qualification’ round?

Qualification round is an elimination round. Teams making through this round will only be allowed to participate in the final event to be held from 17th – 19th March, 2016.

• Where will the Qualification round take place?

The submissions for the Qualification round will be accepted online. Registration process will begin soon.

• What is the deadline to register for the Qualification round?

All teams need to register and pay for the Qualification round on or before 27th November, 2015.

• When will the results of the Qualification round be announced?

The names of the shortlisted teams shall be uploaded on 15 December, 2015.

• Will the points scored in the Qualification round be used to determine the overall rankings?

No, points scored by the teams in the main event shall only be used to evaluate the overall rankings of the competition.

• What are the arrangements for accommodation and food?

Accommodation and food will be made available at nominal rates to all the participants.

• Is there a limit on the number of participants in a team?

No, there is no limit on the number of participants in a team.
